XMC2
BIOPOL®XMC 2 is a broad-spectrum biocide based on aqueous solutions of highly effective bacteriostatic active ingredients. Specially developed for in-tank anti-corrosion and antibacterial suitable for water-based products. It is especially suitable for product formulations where temperature and pH conditions are not suitable for the simple use of CMIT/MIT ingredients and formaldehyde sensitive systems.

Product application and level of use
BIOPOL®XMC 2 is an excellent in-can preservative for coatings, plasters, polymers, glues, inks, adhesives, sealants, home chemicals and other types of products to protect them from bacteria, fungi and algae growth.
The commonly used addition amount of BIOPOL®XMC 2 is between 0.10%~1.0%. The specific level of use of the product depends on the industry in which the product is used and the environmental conditions of production, storage, etc. in the actual application. The optimal dose should be evaluated based on challenging testing within our laboratory.
Guidance on use
BIOPOL®XMC 2 is dispersible in water and soluble in the usual polar solvents. It is stable when the pH value is between 2 and 10 and the temperature is high and does not exceed 80 °C. It is recommended to add the product in the pre-production stage to ensure its good dispersion in the system. In practice, though, the product can be added at specific stages in production as needed. Pay attention to pH and temperature. Avoid conditions with strong redox action.
