BASF Commissions World-Scale Hexamethylenediamine Unit at Chalampé, France

BASF has announced the successful commissioning of its new world-scale hexamethylenediamine (HMD) production unit at its Chalampé site in France. The facility, whose construction commenced in 2022, has now entered full commercial operation, elevating BASF's global HMD production capacity to 260,000 metric tons per annum.
